There is a strong resurgence of interest in yoga. People of all age groups are seen practicing yoga in parks, at home in various countries all over the world. Corporate workshops are being routinely conducted as its benefits are being universally accepted. Many schools have adopted yoga as physical education program and have qualified yoga teachers.

Yoga is synergistic with every religion irrespective of its origin. Yogic practices arewell known in Hinduism. It is not that well know is that spiritual masters of Budhism, Jainism and Sikhism mention various types of yoga. There is a mention in the Holy Bible “be still and you shall know”. Yoga has transcended barriers of countries and everyone is ready to reap its benefits. Celebrities are endorsing Yoga and political leaders are advocating yoga to bring its benefits for the people of their country.
